What is a Musical Chair Sponsorship?

A Musical Chair Sponsorship is a direct way for you, your family, or your company to connect your passion and your donation to a specific person in the Cleveland Repertory Orchestra. Chair Sponsors sometimes choose an instrument they particularly love, a player they know, or a chair recommended by CRO staff.

A Chair Sponsorship is a very visible show of support as the donor’s name appears next to the sponsored musician’s name in concert programs as well as in other listings of symphony donors. This unique kind of sponsorship is an opportunity to get to know more about the Cleveland Repertory Orchestra, and to have a special connection with the musicians on stage during the concerts.

Benefits of Chair Sponsorship?

• Recognition: Your name will be listed in each of our programs and on our website under your musicians name, and you’ll be featured in our list of donors.

   

• Personal Connection: At the end of the season, you’ll be able to meet and have your photo taken with your sponsored musician.

   

• Invitations to Events: Invitations to special events, like open rehearsals with the orchestra.

   

• Support the Orchestra: Musical Chair Sponsorships are a great way to help support the orchestra and offset the increasing operational costs of things like rental music, performance and rehearsal venues, and insurance.

Conductor Podium – $1,000 (1 available)
Concertmaster  (first chair first violin) – $500 (1 available)
Principal Musician (first chair players) – $250

Brass: Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba

How to Sponsor a Chair

Fill out the form below and we will send you an invoice via PayPal for the appropriate amount which confirms the name of your sponsored musician, and which point you can pay by PayPal or credit card. If you wish to sponsor a specific CRO musician, visit our list of musicians and include the musician’s name. If the musician you wish to sponsor is already taken, we will let you know, and offer you alternatives to choose from.
